I do love writing my siblings post every month. It gives me the time to reflect on what we have done as a family. And how our siblings are interacting with each other. Giving Ethan a sibling was one of the biggest decisions we ever had to make. It has been a very interesting journey becoming a family of four. But I will always say that giving Ethan the gift of a sister was the best thing we could ever do for him. I thought today would be the perfect day to look back at our siblings in 2018.
In January it was all about the scooters they had for Christmas. They loved taking them to the beach with us on our winter walks.
In February we went on another Disney adventure to Disneyland Paris. It was a surprise trip to help beat the Walt Disney World blues. We come back with a new found love for Disneyland Paris and can’t wait to return.
In March the Beast From The East struck. School was cancelled and we were stuck in the house for days. We were also in the midst of a very testing time with Ethan. He has discovered a love for throwing that we just couldn’t curb!
April brought with it the Easter holidays and a few dinosaur adventures. We visited Paradise Wildlife Park to experience the World of Dinosaurs and we went to see a show called Dinosaur World Live.
In May Ethan’s birthday treat was a trip to Legoland Windsor. We stayed at the Castle Hotel this time and had a really nice weekend. There was also a trip to the O2 to see In The Night Garden Live. A favorite of Ethan’s and he loved every minute of it!
June and July merged into one as we prepared for Little E to say goodbye to nursery. She also celebrated turning four and had her very first soft play party.
August is when Ethan’s mood changed for the better. Slowly and surly things got a little easier for us all. The summer holidays also took us on some lovely adventures into London. I even attempted getting out of the house on my own with my siblings.
In September Little E had homework to complete for her new school and we visited The Gruffalo Trail. With Little E starting school we all had to adjust to a new routine. I have become a school run mum and I’m really enjoying it.
October was all about the school run. Both children do find it tiring but I think it has all done us the world of good. I still can’t believe I have two children at school. It did take Little E a while to adjust but I think she is enjoying school now.
In November we took a very
We were able to fill December with lots of lovely Christmas activities. I really enjoyed our run up to Christmas this year. I’m sure the children did too. We might have overdone the Santa visits but you only live once!
