A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2022 Week 5. At times this week has been quite testing. Ethan is still very unsettled and it is causing tension. But I have also found that I am laughing more this week. I don’t feel like I have laughed in years. I hope it’s a positive reaction to reducing my tablets.
Project 365 – 2022 Week 5
Day 29
As Ethan lay in bed with Darren he mentioned something about the star of the week. We looked in his bag this morning and found a star of the week certificate for him. Apparently, he is focusing well at school. Perhaps that is why he is out of sorts at home at the moment.
Day 30
A family cinema trip today as both children wanted to watch SIng 2. We went to the 6 pm showing which is late for us but it looked quieter. We all really enjoyed the film.
Day 31
The cat is getting far too much attention for his linking. At the moment Ethan keeps wrapping him up like a present. This is how he ended up sitting next to me in the blanket.
Day 32
Little E has been learning about Egypt. It was a very exciting day today as they could take their toys in to mummify them.
Day 33
There have been some beautiful pink skies lately. This was the colour of the sky when I picked Ethan up from after school club.
Day 34
More attention for the cat. This time his home was behind a cushion. He really doesn’t look impressed!
Day 35
Rain was promised on the school run today. It started to rain just before Little E went into the building. I however got soaked on the way home even though I did have the umbrella.
That was our 2022 Week 5 adventure. You can read about week 4 here.
Well done to Ethan getting Star of the Week. We want to see Sing 2 too. Mummifying the toys sounds like fun. School runs are no fun when it’s raining.
Love that umbrella photo of Little E. The skies have been gorgeous this week haven’t they.
Well done Ethan for his star of the week.
Poor cat, they are so tolerant. Love E’s mummified toy. Good to hear you’ve been laughing more. Hope Ethans bad mood is something that you can learn to manage and it’ll improve with you learning how to cope with it
Well done to Ethan on getting a star of the week at school. The cat looks very cosy wrapped in the blanket, not so impressed about being behind the cushion though. Love Little E’s mummified toy. #project365
Love the Egypt section at school, Eliza is doing Mayans and it is not nearly as fun!! Poor cat. We are saving sing 2 for half term
Glad you are laughing more and feeling happier about things. Love the mummifed cat! #project365
That sunset pic is lovely.
Well done on Star of the Week!
Bee wants to go watch Sing 2. Might have to take her this half term.
