A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2023 Week 6. This week Ethan had an operation to fix his finger. He did amazingly well and it went much better than we were expecting. The stress of it all did take its toll on me. I felt like I had been in a fight. I couldn’t wait for the weekend to come so I could relax.
Project 365 – 2023 Week 6
Day 35
As the week progressed Ethan’s finger become more swollen and black. We were told we would have to go back to A&E if it started bleeding. Thankfully it didn’t and it stayed that way until Monday.
Day 36
I carried this book around with me all week but finally started reading it today. To be honest today was really hard. Worrying about how the operation would go. How Ethan would act. Reading was the only thing I could do to keep me calm.
Day 37
Operation done. Ethan was a complete superstar. We had stressful moments but it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. I was glad when it was all over.
Day 38
The sun was really low today so it was time to get my sunglasses out for driving. It did make me laugh as it was so cold out.
Day 39
It was really foggy on the school run this morning. Thankfully it had cleared by the afternoon.
Day 40
The ice made an amazing pattern on our outside table this morning.
Day 41
Ethan was given a teacher recognition certificate today at school for being so brave when having his operation.
That was our 2023 Week 6 adventure. You can read about week 5 here.
So glad that all went well with Ethan’s operation and hope his finger is healing well. Well done to him on coping so well and getting the certificate at school. Love the ice pattern on your table. #project365
Ouch his finger must have been so painful. Glad the op went ok for him, and hope it heals wewll.
Oh my goodness that poor finger! Love that amazing ice pattern, we also had a lot of mist and fog but it lasted all day! #project365
