Last week the Stand Tall Giraffes returned to Colchester Zoo before they made their way to London and ready for their auction. We had already visited as many as possible in town, but we wanted to see the the others that we had missed.
Unfortunately we had left this until Sunday, the last day of the tour, and the weather decided to take a turn for the worst the minute we left our house.
When we arrived at the Zoo we waited for a break in the weather before leaving the car and making our way to see the giraffes. If felt like everybody in the world wanted to visit the giraffes that day, so it was quite hard to get that many good photos of them all.
Ethan enjoyed looking at the giraffes but we didn’t stay for long as it soon started to rain again, a short be sweet visit to the zoo.
They look fantastic – were they in aid of something? Like the Gromit Unleashed Children’s appeal?
The giraffes look amazing. Why are they being auctioned? Is it for charity?
These are fabulous! I hadn’t even heard of these before, but this is the second post I’ve seen on them today! It’s just been all about the Gromits this summer!
How great to see them all together – I do hope they raise a great amount at auction for such a worthy cause. The picture with Ethan underneath one shows just how big they were! Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
wow Jane this looks t certainly looks like Ethan had a fab time x
