Project 365 2015 Week 10 Days 60-66

A photo a day, every day, for a year!

Day 60

I have been trying to introduce Little E to finger food but all she wanted to do was bang the food on the table. In-fact everything else went into her month apart from the finger food. I have no idea how people do baby-led weaning!  Well today the rusk actually went up to her mouth! She has finally started to try to eat the finger foods.

Day 61

Today we went on our holiday to Elveden Forest Center Parcs. Thankfully we didn’t have to travel too far to get there but Ethan had a bit of a meltdown during the check-in process. He also had a moment whilst we tried to find our accommodation unloading area and I ended up carrying a screaming, crying Ethan into our accommodation. Thankfully we had some welcome visitors that helped calm everything down again.

Day 62

Little E decided to read the information booklet and plan our day!

Day 63

Our activity today was to visit the Elveden mini farm. Ethan got a chance to feed the animals, with a little help from me.

Day 64

We had a horse and carriage ride booked for today. I don’t think Ethan was that sure about it but we survived the activity!

Day 65

It was time to say goodbye to our Center Parcs home. We had a lovely break and we all had a break from technology whilst we were there.

I had never thought about going to Center Parcs before, I’m so glad we tried it. We hope to visit again as Ethan loved it. The visiting ducks etc kept him very entertained and made it very relaxing for us all x

Thank you. She is growing so fast but I was worried that we were a little behind with her finger foods, she has got the hang of it now!

I really don’t understand baby led weaning. I’m sure it is easy but I think my experiences with Ethan make me worry about food intake etc x

  1. Nice to leave the technology behind and enjoy your holiday. Oh dear at the meltdown, but thank goodness for the ducks and geese to distract.
Hope she planned a good day for you. Little E looks like a startled rabbit caught in the car headlights in the bottom pic bless her

lol yes she does, its her big eyes I think. She always has wide eyes, perhaps she thinks we are all slightly mad. I know I do! ;0) x

  2. Technology free holiday sounds fantastic, that’s what I love when we go camping. Love little E’s expression reading the guide book!

It really is good to have some time away from it. We use it so much now in our everyday life x

  3. Ah Center Parcs is such a wonderful family holiday – I have many happy memories from those days. I remember those pesky ducks only too well! Little E is growing up so fast!

  4. What a lovely week – it sounds and looks like a great family break away. Keep up with the baby led weaning, she will get there soon!

  5. I am loving the expression on Little E’s face whilst planning your day at Centre Parcs… did she plan too much to fit into a day??
