Thinking Slimmer 12 Week Challenge – Week 10 Update

It’s week 10 of my Thinking Slimmer 12 week challenge. This week I have been really ill, I lost my voice on Thursday and I then became ill. I have felt very hungry and have eaten more food than I have done for a while. I even had chips and pasta! My ears have felt funny so I haven’t been listening to the chillpod, slimpod and fitpod every night but hope to get back on track soon.

The three goals I have set for myself are

1) Feel fitter and be able to run around with my children with ease

2) Drink less tea and more water

3) Drop a dress size

This is what I have been up to over the past week

Wii Fit and EA Active

I still haven’t touched this apart from weighing myself, to be honest it has been a sofa week for me because I have felt so rough. I really want to get back into exercising to help tone up.

Tea Drinking

My tea drinking has increased this week because I have turned to it feeling ill. I don’t want to get back into old habits so will keep an eye on it this week.


It’s Easter there are chocolate eggs all over the house and I have had a few bits here and there from Ethan’s eggs. I do find I can’t eat too much now as it will make me feel ill.

Cereal Before Bed

I have had cereal before bed once this week, again I blame the illness.

Weight-loss vs Measurements

I was really expecting to put weight on this week because of how much food I have been craving. I’m pleased to stay my BMI and weight stayed the same. Surprisingly I lost on my measurements.

Todays BMI – 29.26

Week 10 weight-loss – No loss

Chest Measurement – No loss

Waist Measurement – 1.5 cm loss

Bicep Measurement – No loss

Hip Measurement – 1.5 cm loss

Thigh Measurement – No loss
