Ethan is obsessed with you tube at the moment and we have discovered the weird and wonderful videos that people make.
He watches videos of people opening kinder eggs and surprise eggs. Sometimes people make play dough eggs to open. I have discovered that people create videos with Peppa Pig play sets and Thomas train sets. I’m amazed at the videos Ethan has found.
This weekend Ethan discovered logos, we have had the BBC News theme tune for weeks so it made a nice change.
I think the Bathtime Buddies has rekindled Ethan’s love of letters and whilst watching the videos he has been calling out the letters that he knows.
His favorite logos are Master Card, LG, Acer and Samsung and just to make sure I know he has said the letters he shouts them right in my ear. He is very intense about it, the beauty of autism!
We are trying to tell him to be a little quieter but its horrible telling a little boy who was quiet for so long to stop making noise.
I really hope Ethan’s new-found love of letters sticks around so that they can embrace it when he starts school.
my kids are also obsessed with those youtube videos of egg opening and play dough. Although lately they’ve moved on to Minecraft videos. It’s great that Ethan is practicing his letters, even if a little loud 🙂

Hello there, this is lovely and it’s wonderful he is so enthusiastic about it-you have inspired me to check it out myself as we haven’t really looked on it together but I think our little man would love it. We did find a great phonics song which has really helped him learn his letters, and I am sure there is a lot more we can find, we’ll certainly be giving Bathtime Buddies a go! x #ssamazingachievements
