A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2023 Week 17, 18 and 19. We have had some busy weeks with two bank holiday weekends. Not giving me much time to blog. I started these weeks feeling pretty low. I got my blood test results back which show my liver and thyroid as borderline. They have booked me in for more blood tests over the coming months. Ethan also celebrated his birthday. Turning thirteen we now officially have a teenager in the house.
Project 365 – 2023 Week 17
Day 112
Darren was working today. He drives all over the place for his job. Today he took his break at Whitstable Beach.
Day 113
Ethan was given this LEGO Brickheadz for his twelfth birthday last year. He likes these sets as he can attempt to build them. I have to support him but he got halfway through building Goofy before it became my job. He is very happy in this photo as the set was packed away in moving boxes. He has been asking about it for months. Finally, it was unpacked and we could build the set.
Day 114
I try to write my 365 post on the weekend but our weekends have suddenly got very busy. I wrote my last post around work on Monday morning.
Day 115
A busy day for me today juggling appointments for the house, school runs and work. I finally got a moment to myself and remembered to take a photo.
Day 116
We are trying to make a new routine of going for a walk whilst Little E is in her ballet lesson. We are doing one lap of the local field. Next week I told Ethan I wanted to do two.
Day 117
Since we moved I haven’t been buying my vitamins. It isn’t move-related it’s more cost-of-living related. I used to add them to our shopping when we had a low-cost food week. Low-cost food weeks no longer exist! After my blood test results, I ordered what I needed hoping it helps my results next time. I found a woman’s version of our normal Bassetts vitamins so I went with them. I also got the man’s version for Darren.
Day 118
I have no idea what this flower is but they have been planted near our house. I really like them.
Project 365 – 2023 Week 18
Day 119
Ethan swam 800 metres he brought home his certificate tonight.
Day 120
We went to see the Super Mario Brothers movie today. We all really enjoyed it. Ethan is already asking when can we watch it on the TV.
Day 121
My mum come round today and put some flowers in our garden. She put in begonias in the hope we can deal with them. We aren’t very good at flowers!
Day 122
Ethan made a boat at school today. He was very proud to show it to me when he got home.
Day 123
Time to go on my walk again with Ethan today. I tried to get him to walk around the field twice but he wasn’t having any change to the routine so we had to cut across the field. I think we might have walked around the field one and a half times.
Day 124
I have been quite prepared for Ethan’s birthday. Ordering everything in advance but I forgot the candles. I remembered to pick some up today.
Day 125
Decorations for the coronation at school today.
Project 365 – 2023 Week 19
Day 126
The king’s coronation is today. We didn’t have plans but we did watch it on the TV. The children didn’t watch but we did ask them a few times if they wanted to.
Day 127
A busy day visiting my brother today. When we got home I prepared Ethan’s balloons for his birthday in the morning.
Day 128
Ethan’s birthday is today, an official teenager.
Day 129
A very good electricity day in our house.
Day 130
We didn’t get to go on our walk today as it was raining. It did give me time to read my book. I don’t feel I’m getting much reading time lately.
Day 131
Nothing better than a rainy day school run!
Day 132
We had to pick up something from the local shop. So we all got an after-school treat.
That was our 2023 Week 17, 18 and 19 adventure. You can read about week 16 here.
I am glad you are feeling a bit better now. Fantastic photos. The past few weeks have seemed busy with the bank holidays.
My two saw the Super Mario Bros film at the cinema and I have been asking the same as Ethan, when will it be on TV. hehehe
Now that we have one of those smart meters I like seeing it when the cost is right down.
Ethan looks very happy with his LEGO Brickheadz. Sorry that you’ve been feeling low and hope that you get more answers with your blood tests. Well done to Ethan on swimming 800 metres. Happy belated birthday to Ethan. He looks very happy with his birthday balloons. #project365
