A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2021 Week 12. It felt like a very relaxing week for us. We are back into the school and work-life routine. Which will be disrupted next week by the Easter Holidays. It was a week of celebration for me as I celebrated my second lockdown birthday. I took two days off of work to have some me-time. This milestone also meant that we have been living with the Covid-19 pandemic for a year. A year of many changes. I’m keeping everything crossed hoping that we come out of lockdown in the correct way. We need a summer with our family and the chance to get out of our house.
Project 365 – 2021 Week 12
Day 79
I treated myself to a new Disney Lego set for my birthday. When I was placing the order I qualified for a free Easter gift and an Amelia Earhart tribute set. The Easter set has been saved for the children and Darren put my Disney Lego away for my birthday. This set was mine to start when I wanted.
Day 80
Another Sunday morning walk at Brightlingsea for us. Ethan was very happy to be there but he keeps asking when we can go back to Disneyland Paris. When I tell him it is up to Boris Johnson he asks about another theme park. He clearly wants a change to our routine too.
Day 81
I built the Amelia Earhart Lego set over two days. I built the plane on Sunday evening and completed the base today after work. A nice set considering it was a free gift.
Day 82
Ethan lost a baby tooth on Monday night. A quick google search to check that it really did still happen at his age. I wasn’t expecting him to lose anymore and he hasn’t had any teeth issues to give us a warning. The tooth was left downstairs as this is where Ethan needs the tooth fairy to visit. These are the coins he discovered in the morning. He was very excited about it all. It has taken many years for him to get to this stage.
Day 83
Just when I was thinking I haven’t got any photos this month for my sibling’s post they walk like this on the way home from school.
Day 84
This time last year I celebrated my birthday in lockdown without a cake. This year I was able to walk into town with a friend to buy my birthday cake. I had a very nice relaxing day and only had to worry about the school runs.
Day 85
It’s the last day of the school term for our two. Little E’s school celebrated with an Easter Bonnet parade. It was virtual this year using zoom as assemblies aren’t allowed. Little E made her Easter Bonnet with just a little bit of help from her daddy.
That was our 2021 Week 12 adventure. You can read about our week 11 here.
I am glad you’ve had a relaxed week.
Happy birthday to you! I am glad you got a cake this year.
The Lego set is fab! I haven’t seen that one before.
My youngest lost her last baby tooth last year when she was 12 so Ethan still losing them is totally normal. How exciting to have the tooth fairy visit.
Such a sweet photo of your two walking home from school. x
I love the Amelia Earhart Lego set and that Ethan was so excited about the visit from the tooth fairy. That photo of him and Little E walking home from school is adorable. Glad you had a nice relaxing birthday – that cake looks very yummy. Love Little E’s Easter bonnet. #project365
Happy belated birthday. Looks like a nice cake. Good that Ethan was happy with losing the tooth. It felt like it was never ending for N from Dec to Jan losing teeth. I’m never really sure how many milk teeth they lose.
I had my 40th last year in complete lockdown so I can understand how having a lockdown birthday last year without cake felt. So glad you managed to get out a little and buy a nice cake for this one 🙂 George had an easter bonnet parade too so glad that he was able to go in and enjoy an Easter party too. Hope you all have a lovely Easter #Project365
Love that Lego set! Happy Birthday. We had two or three tooth fairy visits in 6 weeks recently and another wobbler now – there are still a few more to go here #365
Ahhh Happy Birthday sounds like you had a lovely day. Love the Easter bonnet and the lego model that is a good one for a freebie. We are still loosing milk teeth here too, glad Ethan was happy with his change.
Hope you had a lovely birthday! I think the Lego is brilliant for a free set. I’ve treated myself to the lego Harry Potter books this week. #project365
Happy belated birthday! Your cake looks tasty! Love the Lego sets you got, especially Amelia Earhart, though the Disney one looks cool too. Beautiful photo for your two guys together, and Ethan looks so happy on the walk.
Very pretty Easter bonnet! Big well done to Little E!
I love that lego set and I think Eliza would too as she loves all her historical figures. Love the Easter bonnet and Happy Birthday 🙂
Hope you had a lovely birthday. I have only had one lockdown birthday so far. So glad you had cake this year! Every birthday should have cake! Your LEGO set looked great, I think my boys would like that one. Hope Ethan gets his wish and can go to more theme parks soon. We have booked a holiday for later in the year but sticking to the UK for now.
