A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2021 Week 41. It turned out that this week was a repeat of our previous week. On the day Ethan returned to school we received an email saying that one of the members of his class was covid positive. Although we knew Ethan hadn’t been in his class for a few days we still ordered the advised covid tests.
Project 365 – 2021 Week 41
Day 282
An enforced lazy day for us as I wanted to limit our contact until we got our first set of covid results back. I spent the day catching up on blog stuff. I still have a lot of reading and commenting to catch up on but I am getting there slowly. One of our cats was my sofa friend for the day.
Day 283
Our results from our week of testing started to come through today. We had one result every few hours so another lazy day whilst waiting for them to come in. Thankfully we all got negative results. My sofa friend for the day today was our Hedwig puppet. Little E treated herself to him when we went to the Harry Potter tour earlier this year.
Day 284
We decided to keep Ethan at home today even though his PCR test was negative. He was still coughing a bit from his cold and we wanted to make sure he felt 100% before we sent him back. Darren took him on some errands with him today. They went into the range for new USB cables and they discovered the Christmas lights had started going up.
Day 285
The mornings are getting colder it’s time to start bringing out the winter bits.
Day 286
We got caught by the level crossing today. Ethan did get a little distressed by the waiting this caused but he was happy as two trains crossed it.
Day 287
Somehow Little E talked me into a visit to the park this afternoon. I hadn’t had any work emails come in which is why I think she won me over. Ethan copied the younger school children going on the baby swings. They were standing up in them he decided to sit in his. Thankfully he was too small to get stuck in the swing.
Day 288
We stopped to look at this ladybird for far too long on the way home from school.
That was our 2021 Week 41 adventure. You can read about our week 40 here.
I’m glad all of the tests came back negative.
What a cute little sofa friend. hehehe and Little E’s winter hat is just adorable. x
Good news about the negative tests. I’ve been digging out my hats too ready for colder tennis training sessions sitting around.
Loving the hat! Glad to hear that all your tests came back negative. Your Hedwig puppet looks cute!
Love the Hedwig puppet and Little E’s hat. It has definitely turned autumnal all of a sudden. We dug out the hats and gloves this week too. I’m very impressed that Ethan managed to still get in the baby swing but thank goodness he managed to get out too! #project365
Little E looks very pretty in her cute winter hat. Glad to hear all the results were negative.
The ladybird is colourful. It surely is time for it to go hibernating.
Swings are great for any age. My older son loves them, and he is 19. I think it has a calming effect on him.
Hope everyone one is fully recovered now. I want to go to a garden centre or somewhere with Christmas decorations so we can choose our annual addition to our collection. #project365
