A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2021 Week 7. This week was our half-term holiday. Darren had the week off of work. In our previous lockdown life, we were hoping we might be able to escape to Center Parcs this week. Thankfully we didn’t book anything it was more of a pipe dream. So this was the week we were meant to catch-up with Little E’s school work but we just really pottered about instead.
Project 365 – 2021 Week 7
Day 44
We had a delivery today. I ordered the children a Percy Pig Valentine hamper gift from Marks and Spencer’s. We don’t normally give the kids valentines gifts but the only way you can change the days at the moment is with food. I left it on the sofa for them to see first thing in the morning.
Day 45
Valentine’s Day and Darren went to Aldi to get some ‘bread’ this morning. He came back with some roses for me. We had previously ordered my Stitch the day he was released. He is Beauty and the Beast inspired and a limited edition. I love Beauty and the Beast, the rose in the film is the perfect symbol to represent it.
Day 46
Darren took the children out for a walk today. It gave me some time on my own whilst I worked. I’m so used to having everyone around now I felt a bit lost without them in the house.
Day 47
On Sunday I was asked to book my Covid-19 vaccination. I really wasn’t expecting to be called so soon. I was very excited about it and so happy that this is even able to happen. Positive steps forward.
Day 48
The vaccine knocked me for six today. I can only explain it as it felt a bit like jet lag. This meant I had another duvet day before going to bed at 8.20 pm. There was a delivery today though. I ordered this Up cushion from Shop Disney. I thought it summed up the lockdowns pretty well.
Day 49
My Mum’s MacBook Air has been struggling to do simple things for her lately. So I did a doorstop collection to look at it for her. I was able to force through an update. It’s still an older system but hopefully it will sort out the issues she has been having.
Day 50
I started my Snow White Puzzle. I haven’t felt the need to puzzle so much the past few weeks. Possibly I’m feeling a little more positive about things.

Great photos! I once did a 52-week photography challenge and loved it! Thanks for giving me this inspiration I needed to start looking for good photo opportunities again!
OMG that Stitch is gorgeous. I missed out on the Percy Pig valentine stuff, looks lovely. My macbook air is struggling too – it is 8 years old this year so wondering whether to persevere or save for an upgrade

The Percy Pig Valentine hamper sounds like a lovely treat for the kids and that Stitch is beautiful! I haven’t seen anything like that before.
That is great news you’ve have had your vaccine. My dad had his and slept for 18 hours straight and said it felt like a massive hangover.
I am glad you are feeling more positive at the moment. The brighter, warmer weather has really boosted my mood x

Yay to getting your covid vaccine. The Oh will be at the end of the 9 criteria, so he’ll be hearing in a few weeks I guess. I feel the same when N is outside on the farm. Feels empty when he’s not around. Will be strange once he’s back at school again.

My parents have both had the jab and my mum had a lot of symptoms that lasted for 24 hours but my dad had none except a sore arm (they had different versions of the jab and this is expected apparently). Hope to see your finished puzzle next week. #project365

How lovely for the kids to have a Percy Pig Valentine hamper gift. Percy Pig treats are always quite fun. I love the UP cushion quite tempted to order one myself now. Glad you have had your jab, sorry to hear it made you feel poorly. That was good you could fix your mum’s computer.
