A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2022 Week 9. This week has one of my favourite days of the year in it. Pankcae day! Well Shrove Tuesday but for me, it’s all about the pancakes. It was also a week of keeping an eye on what is going on in the world. Hoping that peace can come soon. It is also a week that has ended in achievements for both children. Ethan had his first covid vaccine, it was a lot easier than I was expecting. And they both were awarded certificates.
Project 365 – 2022 Week 9
Day 57
I made this lunch for Little E today. It reminded me of the lunch I used to make her as a toddler. She has been quite fussy lately so I must remember to make this more often for her.
Day 58
I was going to book us a table at Bil’s for Pancake Day. We would have to eat quite late to include Darren. So instead of him missing out on our treat, we went to Bill’s for breakfast this morning. We all had their pancakes in some form or another. I had mine with bacon.
Day 59
My full workday today and Darren is at home taking the children to school. I only remembered to take a photo today as I was having my evening tea.
Day 60
We might have gone out for a pancake treat but you can’t miss the chance to make pancakes at home right?
Day 61
We have had quite a few rainy school runs this week. I do love the photo I took of these two this morning though.
Day 62
World Book Day today. Little E’s school decided to take the pressure off this year. They went against dressing up, asking the children to bring in a favourite book. This did cause quite a bit of upset as the children were expecting to dress up. Ethan’s school said you can dress up or come in as a muggle. I got Ethan a Harry Potter costume as he knows this character. He absolutely loved dressing up. He wore his costume all day, even the glasses.
Day 63
Two photos for today as both children were given certificates. Ethan also had his covid vaccination with ease. I was still worn out due to being so nervous about it. A day of achievements and I couldn’t be prouder.
That was our 2022 Week 9 adventure. You can read about week 8 here.
I love Bill’s what a fab idea to go there for breakfast pancakes. Well done kids for your achievements this week, lovely to have certificates for your efforts. My boys haven’t had the jab yet, my eldest couldn’t because he caught COVID when it was due to be done, how was he after it? I am in two minds now one of my boys has had COVID.
