A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2023 Week 4. For some reason this week had a leisurely feel to it. My work was quieter and the pressure was off. I enjoyed reading my new book this week and it features in quite a few of my photos.
Project 365 – 2023 Week 4
Day 21
After finishing The Handmaids Tale I brought the second book in the series, The Testaments. It arrived today thanks to amazon prime. I didn’t start reading it today but I was glad I had a new book to start.
Day 22
We went to visit my brother and his family today. Our belated Christmas trip. I always send him a photo when we are on the Dartford bridge so he knows we are over halfway there. It was great seeing them again. I think the last time we visited them was in the summer. The end of last year was dominated by our house move.
Day 23
I was busy with work today but I started to read my book in the evening. I also read some of Little E’s book to her at bedtime. I realised just before I was going to go to sleep that I hadn’t taken a photo today so I took a photo of my book.
Day 24
Before lockdown, Ethan had a McDonald’s every week. It was very unsettling for him when all of the McDonald’s restaurants closed. When they opened again we were able to adjust him to having them once a month. But once a month is meant to be on the 25th. As Darren was off today and we don’t live close to a McDonald’s any more we thought today would be the best day to go and pick one up. This change of a day earlier took quite a lot of preparation for Ethan. We talked about the different McDonald’s date for over a week. Yes, Ethan did also ask for a McDonald’s on the 25th!
Day 25
I got the chance to read today whilst I waited for Ethan’s after-school club to finish. I even had a sneaky Cadbury creme egg.
Day 26
We went to my mum’s after school as I needed to link their TV back up to Disney Plus. She had this oodie style top for Little E. Little E loves it and is now wearing it everywhere.
Day 27
Last school run of the week for us.
