A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2023 Week 3. This week felt easier than the week before. Which at times I found challenging. The school routine felt more natural this week. I think we are all getting a bit more used to our new routines. We celebrated Darren’s birthday this week. We had a day off and we went out twice this week as a couple. That must be our quota filled for the next five years now!
Project 365 – 2023 Week 3
Day 14
Every Christmas I treat myself to a small box of Ferrero Rocher. My mum brought me the Grand version for a Christmas gift. We finally opened it today. I must admit I was a bit disappointed as I thought it would have the chocolate filling inside too. It didn’t.
Day 15
We went to the cinema to see Avatar when I was pregnant with Ethan. It might have been the last film we saw together before we become a family. Darren wanted to see Avatar The Way of Water for a birthday treat. We finally made it today.
Day 16
I’m trying to make more time to read with Little E. We read on the days when there aren’t any after school clubs. I got her a selection of Jacqueline Wilson books for Christmas. This is the first one we are reading together.
Day 17
Icy school runs are back.
Day 18
It was colder today on the school run.
Day 19
Darren’s birthday time for cake. Thankfully we have actually unpacked the matches. I did have a mini panic when I was putting the candles on the cake as this house is electric only. We might not have been able to light them!
Day 20
We both had the day off of work today so were able to have a lunch date for Darren’s birthday. Darren picked a visit to Prezzo and I had a 25% off voucher emailed to me last week which was a bonus.

Oh that is a bit disappointing with the Grand Ferrero Rocher. I would have expected the chocolate filling as well. Hope Little E is enjoying the Jacqueline Wilson books. I’ve started reading with Sophie in the mornings this year and we’re currently enjoying working out way through The BFG. Darren’s birthday cake looks yummy. Glad you’d unpacked the matches!
