Enjoying The Fresh Air, Letting Off Steam!

Last weekend the weather was lovely and in our quest to keep Ethan busy we actually spent sometime in the great outdoors. Yes it may have just been in our garden at points, but we were out and Ethan was enjoying himself.

On Saturday we decided to let Ethan has his main birthday present early so that he had something to do in the garden. We had decided to buy him a slide as he loves them when we visit the park but it’s getting harder for me to take him there with the growing bump.

I think we can safely say Ethan likes his new slide. I really hope he continues to use it over the coming summer.

On Sunday we purchased a new bubble gun, Darren found it in the Marks & Spencers outlet, bubbles are always a massive hit. Ethan had lots of fun chasing the bubbles around Nanny’s garden.
On Sunday we finally visited our country park, they have a bluebell walk at this time of year and again we are yet to visit it. It has been on my list of things to do for a while. We nearly didn’t make it this year as I really felt ill again on Sunday but I eventually got myself together. I was only able to waddle slowly behind the boys as they discovered dens and the bluebells in the woods.
Ethan loves being out and about and it was nice to actually get out on all three days over the bank holiday weekend. This did mean that we didn’t do all the things we need to do in the house, but there is always this weekend and it’s meant to be raining!

  1. Looks like a fun walk! I think he wont get tired of those slides! Mine always picks slides in playgrounds =) #countrykids

  2. I think Ethan’s smiles say it all – he loves his new slide and bubble machine! Lovely photos of Ethan with his Daddy among the blue bells too. I hope you are feeling better and thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
