A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2021 Week 15. This week saw the children returning to school. The coronavirus measures also relaxed a bit this week. Non-essential shops could reopen and the children were able to return to their afterschool activities. The end result was quite a hectic week!
Project 365 – 2021 Week 15
Day 100
Little E brought home a planted seed from school. We found out it is a broad bean and this is how much it has grown. I’m quite amazed at how much it has grown as we are terrible with plants. Little E is definitely the gardener in our family.
Day 101
We went to Mersea Island today for our weekly walk. We took the children to Cudmore Grove as there are playgrounds there. There is also a little bit of a beach so it gives Ethan the chance to see the sea and Little E can look for shells. You can see Brightlingsea across the water which Ethan thought was funny.
Day 102
Little E returned to school today but Ethan had a non-pupil day. Darren took Ethan into town to buy him some new school shoes from Clarks. I had booked him an appointment to make it as easy as possible for them. Ethan’s feet have grown a whole size so they come back from town with new school shoes and trainers.
Day 103
The tooth fairy had to pay us another visit tonight. Little E’s tooth fell out just before bedtime. The tooth fairy was worried about the lack of change she could get hold of but Darren was able to save the day.
Day 104
Little E’s plant is continuing to grow at speed. We took this photo to send to her teacher.
Day 105
Ethan was at the after-school club tonight so I took Little E into town after school for her turn to buy new shoes. We took the bus, this is the first time I have been on a bus since moving here. It was our little adventure. Little E didn’t need new school shoes but her feet have got bigger. I brought her some new trainers and some sandals for the summer.
Day 106
I had to order Little E some new swimsuits this week. We realised this as we squeezed her into her suit for swimming on Monday. She has got so tall during the lock-downs! I ordered her some from the Disney Store. A new puzzle might have also accidentally been placed into the basket. I still need to finish the Tangled castle puzzle as I haven’t completed that one yet.
That was our 2021 Week 15 adventure. You can read about our week 14 here.
Well done with the plant! It’s growing really well.
How exciting that the tooth fairy came to visit again.
What a gorgeous puzzle. It is impossible to go on the Disney Store and just buy what you need. hehehe x
We grew a beanstalk once from a bean and some kitchen roll and water, fascinating to watch grow aren’t they!
Mersea Island is lovely isn’t it, we don’t love too far away.
Funny, Lilys tooth has just come out! Seems we have similar lives haha
Ooh that’s going to be a hard puzzle, all similar colours. I’m sure N’s feet need measuring again, but I need to take him to the children’s shoe shop as Clarks here have never been good, and the shoes don’t work for his feet.
Thanks for the interesting post! Apparently you had a very busy week … Unfortunately, I cannot boast of the same, since my children had colds all week. I have never been to Mersea Island, but thanks to your post I found out that this place is definitely worth a visit.
I feel for the Tooth Fairy – change just isn’t as readily available these days is it – three times she’s nearly been in big trouble here! You’ve reminded me that we really need to get my son’s feet checked again. Good luck to E and her Broad bean plant #365
I’m very impressed at how well Little E’s broad bean is growing and she looks very pleased with it. Glad that tooth fairy was able to get some change from Darren. Sophie also seems to have shot up during the lockdowns. #project365
Always so exciting when a tooth comes out! Love the puzzle. My son brought home a sapling last year, basically a stick but it is now growing into a proper mini tree! #project365
we are growing broad beans too, looks like Es is doing really well. I can not remember the last time I went on a bus. My two have grown too and needed new trousers, and now the weathers changed they need shorts! It never ends. Yay for Disney jigsaws
I don’t miss school shoe shopping at all, I think we devote too much time to it. The bean is growing vwery well, E sure seems like the green fingered one in your house. Glad the tooth fairy came to the rescue int he end
Good luck with the broad bean plant, its doing fab so far! I am not very green fingered either. So glad the tooth fairy managed to locate some change. I love little E’s ear muffs! Look forward to seeing the finished result when you complete the puzzle. That is a really lovely one 🙂
You have reminded me that I need to book a shoe appointment for Eliza – bought her some online but they are too tight. I have a stash of coins now for the tooth fairy as always get caught out
