A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2021 Week 21. This week we had an influx of parcels as I had to order myself some clothes that fit. Little E got to experience her second-ever school trip as apparently they are allowed now. They visited Clacton-on-sea and spent the day at the beach. The children were all so excited. Ethan is still jumping but he hasn’t laughed at me as he has done it this week. I’m hoping that means this half-term week will be a little easier with him.
Project 365 – 2021 Week 21
Day 142
Little E was sent two new OSMO math games to review. She had been playing them all week but I needed to complete my review filming today. She absolutely loves these games she was sent Math Wizard and The Enchanted World Games and Math Wizard and The Amazing Airships. It was amazing to watch how easy these games made math for her.
Day 143
Today was our day to visit the zoo. We didn’t actually see that many animals. Ethan was just happy to be at the zoo again and we walked around it following our normal route.
Day 144
Darren brought me some flowers today just because.
Day 145
Little E’s school trip day today. I have never known such an easy morning to get ready for school. I wanted to take a photo of her before school as she was so excited. In the excitement, I forgot. So this is a photo of Little E walking home from school.
Day 146
Two trips in the car this week and Ethan has been my front passenger. He wouldn’t sit in the back in his car seat. I’m wondering if this is because we have told him he is now really too tall to use it.
Day 147
We had a bit of a funny moment today. I couldn’t open this jar of pesto to put in our slow cooker dinner. I called Darren to see if he thought it would be OK to add it to the meal as we serve it up. He said two minutes and arrived at home to open the jar for me. Thankfully he was just around the corner. His work normally takes him miles away from home each day
Day 148
Darren let me get a new toy. It was meant to be a gift for my 40th birthday. As we couldn’t really go anywhere we put on hold purchasing it. But I now own a gimble in the hope that I will be able to capture non-shaking footage of the children. It will take me years to work out how to use it.
That was our 2021 Week 21 adventure. You can read about our week 20 here.
Aww, “just because” flowers are the best! They look splendid too. The pesto jar story is so funny. :))
Nice present – would love a gimble although I know I wouldn’t use it enough. I’ve got a lower tech version of one but it’s a bit heavy. The zoo trip sounds nice. I need to get organising some days out for us.
What an exciting week for you.
Those maths games sound great fun for Little E and she’s learning too so that’s a bonus.
Ahh! So that’s what a gimble is. It sounds like it is something you really wanted x
Ethan looks very grown up now, I’m sure it won’t be long before my son insists on sitting in the front with me too. Love the rhino riding shot #365
How lovely to be able to visit the zoo again and glad you had a nice day. The flowers from Darren are so pretty. Glad Little E enjoyed her school trip. Ethan is looking so grown-up now! #project365
We’ve not been to a zoo in a while but have explored our garden instead: we have a mouse as of today! My oldest two love sitting in the front seat. #project365
Ah, we love Osmo, it totally got me through the pain of homeschooling. I cannot wait to get back to visiting the zoo
The OSMO math games sound good. Might have to get Bee to try them.
I had no idea what a gimble was!
So nice to be able to get out and visit places now isn’t it?
