A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2021 Week 22. This week it was the May Half Term and we got the chance to getaway. It felt like we went from doing nothing to being full-on adventurers. Ethan was still in jumping mode but we ignored it as best we could. We had a great week making family memories and there is still another adventure to go on this Sunday.
Project 365 – 2021 Week 22
Day 149
We were up and out early on Saturday morning. Before the first lockdown, we booked a seal watching trip from Harwich. Today was the day we could finally go on the tour. We hired the boat for ourselves with our friends and it was a fantastic trip. The weather was also on our side.
Day 150
Today was our packing day for our break. Something we haven’t had to do for a long time. Darren let me buy the other Disney LEGO Art so that I could also make Minnie Mouse. We put them up today, I really love this art.
Day 151
Today we drove to Sandy Balls New Forest Holiday Village, our home for the next few days. We were going to visit somewhere on the way there but decided just to take a slow drive there. It worked out really well in the end and took the pressure off of having to be anywhere at a certain time.
Day 152
At Sandy Balls, you can take alpacas for walks. I knew Little E would love this so I booked it for our first day. Ethan also walked with them but we had to watch his jumping. He actually did listen to us and just did small jumps away from the alpacas.
Day 153
Little E on the new driving ride at Paultons Park. She was worried about going on this as she always worries about doing things wrong. She was totally fine and so was Ethan. They should both be very proud of themselves.
Day 154
My dessert at The Woodside Inn. Salted caramel ice cream on a waffle. It would have been rude not to!
Day 155
The traffic was a nightmare getting home today. As soon as we got in it was back to reality with a bump. I have to get all the washing done before our next mini adventure on Sunday.

Oh wow! How exciting for Little E to take an alpaca for a walk. I could quite fancy doing that myself.

I was going to book an alpaca walk for when we went to wales but wasn’t sure re the weather..and then they got booked up! My girls would love it!
There are some alpacas in a field near us but never managed to get close. Looks like you had a wonderful half term. #project365

The seal watching trip looks like fun, we booked a puffin one last year and still haven’t been able to do it. It’ll be next year now as they have left already. That ice cream waffle looks amazing
We drove past Sandyballs on the way to our half term break and we thought we must have a look at that! How nice that you can walk Alpacas and you can not beat a trip to Paultons Park it is our favourite theme park. Hope you had a wonderful mini adventure too can’t wait to hear all about it.
